The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.Purpose of this InternshipWe are looking for interns who are passionate and committed to kickstarting their career in sales. The Ticket Sales and Service Internship program is designed for college students who want to gain first-hand experience in the front office of a professional sports team. This is your chance to assist the daily operations of the Sales and Service departmentThis is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).Job DescriptionHow to research and brainstorm new group initiatives, theme nights and moreHow our sales/service department operates and how to market and sell ticket packagesProduce qualified sales leads through prospecting and researchThe role of customer service, client relations, and fan interaction in a professional sports environmentYou will participate in a hybrid setting; projects and trainings will take place both remotely as well as in our office at Sports Illustrated StadiumQualificationsAutonomous - Self-motivated and able to work independentlyCreative - Solve problems on the flyFriendly - Likable, open, and able to easily engage with othersAdditional InformationBecause of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).
