This individual will be responsible for leading the project management for new product launches. This person will create and execute a project timeline from packaging development and ingredient sourcing through production and shipment. It's a great place to learn all about the consumer products industry and work directly with top retailers.Primary Responsibilities Include:Responsible for 1/3 of the new initiative pipeline (inclusive of new items, product line extensions, product changes, capacity expansion initiatives, etc.) in a highly complex manufacturing networkPlan, track, execute, and deliver on the successful launch of new or seasonal itemsCreate a realistic project timeline based on customer-specific requirements, unique component lead times, and supply chain process constraints, and provide to Sales for alignment.Actively manage the project to ensure external and internal groups adhere to key milestone deadlines.Drive deliverables and troubleshoot issues.Coordinate the activities of many key internal departments (Sales, Materials Management, R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.)Identify and mitigate risks throughout project execution. Communicate risks and status to SalesLead weekly cross-functional meetings to align on project status and assign action itemsContinuously seek to improve the launch process and provide a better experience for our customers.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.Education and ExperienceMinimum Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field2-4 years previous experienceAbility to communicate effectively with different functional areasDemonstrated ability to influence and negotiate within a cross-functional team environmentResilient and results-drivenHighly organized with strong attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze informationCommitment to continuous improvementEffective time management skills to maintain multiple projectsAdditional Preferred QualificationsFamiliar with a manufacturing processKnowledge of the CPG industryPhysical Requirements & Working ConditionsThis position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.Frequent: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.Occasional: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.Vision: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.Hearing: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.This job description is not intended to contain a comprehensive list of the responsibilities that are required to successfully perform in this position.
