This is an opportunity to join an early stage company with ambitious growth plans.Journeyman Electrician ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on electrical support of Treehouse customers in the city of Detroit and surrounding suburbsInstall equipment related to residential electrification, ensuring installation accuracy, efficiency, and throughput according to company goalsOrganize and maintain vehicle inventory to ensure alignment with and efficiency in meeting all installation requirements and purchase, deliver, and organize installation inventoryServe as customer service electrical subject-matter expert, conducting site visits, identifying and negotiating change orders, and advising on scoping needsFollow standard operating procedures and guidelines and ensure all work meets safety standards and is up to code in field work and collect, maintain, and demonstrate understanding of electrical installation inspection documentationDeliver permits and business licenses to local building departments when neededJourneyman Electrician Minimum QualificationsActive journeyman electrician certification in the state of Michigan5 or more years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least half of all career experience in the residential electrical tradeStrong working knowledge of national and regional electrical codesJourneyman Electrician Preferred Qualifications8 or more years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 4 years in the residential electrical tradeResidential service work preferred, with a focus and understanding of the challenges of electrifying older homes in the Detroit area without the ability to fully overhaul existing infrastructureAn independent self-starter capable of completing projects without significant oversight or training and who can solve problems proactivelyAn ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleaguesAn interest in continuous growth and improvementThe pay rate for this position is expected to be between $36.00 - $43.00 per hour.
