Director, Product ManagementCommercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience. Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles.Job Summary: Seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director, Product Management to lead the development and commercialization of innovative products and solution offerings for our oncology MSO. This leader will spearhead initiatives in data commercialization, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation, leveraging these capabilities to create market-leading solutions that differentiate our organization. The role is central to shaping scalable business technology solutions that support independent oncology practices in delivering high-quality, value-based care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product strategy, commercialization, and healthcare technology, with deep expertise in oncology care and a proven track record in data-driven product innovation.ResponsibilitiesProduct Lifecycle Ownership: Manage products from ideation to launch, focusing on delivering commercial-ready solutions that leverage data and automation.Data Commercialization: Develop and execute strategies to monetize clinical, operational, and financial data assets, including data productization, partnerships, and compliance with privacy regulations.AI & Automation Leadership: Identify, evaluate, and integrate AI/ML and automation technologies to enhance product capabilities, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.Product Differentiation: Drive unique value propositions by leveraging emerging technologies and data-driven insights to address unmet needs in oncology care.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical, commercial, engineering, data science, and design teams, as well as external innovation partners, to deliver solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.Customer-Centric Development: Engage with oncology providers, administrators, and patients to gather insights and validate product concepts.Go-to-Market Enablement: Support launch planning, messaging, and sales enablement activities to ensure successful product adoption and market penetration.Performance Measurement: Define and track KPIs for data commercialization revenue, AI-driven product adoption, automation-enabled operational improvements, customer satisfaction, and commercial impact.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred12+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on commercial product development in healthcare or life sciences, preferredDemonstrated experience in data commercialization, AI/ML, and automation in healthcare, with a track record of launching data-driven productsProven success in launching and scaling B2B healthcare products, preferably in oncology or specialty careStrong understanding of healthcare delivery models, reimbursement, and value-based care in oncologyTechnical acumen in cloud platforms, data privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)Experience working with cross-functional teams including clinical, technical, commercial, and data science stakeholdersFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with all levels of an organization, up to c-suiteAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentAbility to travel up to ~10%What is expected of you and others at this levelProvides leadership to managers and experienced professional staff; may also manage front line supervisorsManages an organizational budgetDevelops and implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational goalsAssists in the development of functional strategyDecisions have an extended impact on work processes, outcomes, and customersInteracts with internal and/or external leaders, including senior managementPersuades others into agreement in sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationshipsAnticipated salary range: $135,400-$228,910Bonus eligible: YesBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 12/12/25If interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
