PRN MedSurg

Flexibility a *MUST*

-Local Per Diem/PRN MedSurg (ED float) RN needed

-Acute, smaller scale setting (25 bed CAH)

-12 hour shifts

-mainly days for now - possibility of NOC shifts to come/intermix with day shifts (never back to back)

-7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

-RN will need to be able to commit to at least 1 shift a week and be flexible as the days of week/shift time coverage needed, *is subject to change weekly.*

-Schedules will be posted a month out so RN can plan accordingly and confirm.

-RN is expected to provide the weekly needed coverage to facility with the likelihood and potential of more hours/flexibility to come

*Requirements:*

-Active IA or Compact RN Licensure

-Recent Acute Care experience.

-At least 2 years of Medical Surgical experience | MS experienced, competent/skilled .

-At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience | ED experienced, competent/skilled and ED experienced, competent/skilled

-Will mainly be in MedSurg unit, adults/PEDs mix as is CAH (previous PEDs exp not needed)

-MedSurg and ER units are right next to each other, may float to ER if/as needed.

-Will always be main ER RN on the floor to cover ER

-Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS

-EMR: Epic | experience desired, but not required

-Current Iowa Mandatory Reporter certifications (2), 1 adult/1 child

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, PRN, Per diem, Temporary

Pay: $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
