Job Description:We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Lead with strong expertise in ABAP development and techno-functional knowledge of the Plant Maintenance (PM) module. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex SAP implementations, engaging stakeholders, and delivering innovative solutions that align with business needs.Key Responsibilities:Lead SAP S/4HANA technical development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs, user exits, function modules, and CDS Views.Integrate CDS Views with OData services for Fiori applications and ensure performance optimization.Collaborate with functional teams to deliver solutions for SAP PM, including maintenance planning, work orders, notifications, and asset lifecycle management.Conduct solution design and gap analysis to bridge SAP capabilities with client requirements.Support integration with other modules (MM, PP, FI) and external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData.Troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers.Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in SAP development and architecture.Required Experience & Skills:10+ years of overall SAP experience with proven leadership and stakeholder engagement.Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.Deep understanding of S/4HANA architecture and latest features.Expertise in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and asset management processes.Hands-on experience with CDS Views, annotations, associations, and joins for complex data models.Integration experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP BTP.Familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and SAP Event Mesh.Working knowledge of SQL, Linux/Unix, and scripting.Basic understanding of Snowflake pipelines and data models.Strong troubleshooting skills across network, hardware, application, and database layers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; self-starter with ability to work independently.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP IS-U systems.Exposure to Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).Industry experience in utilities or asset-intensive sectors.
