Responsibilities

The Lighting and Shading Specialist plays a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge lighting and shading solutions. They will ensure seamless integration with control systems and deliver exceptional results to our clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, and Clients from the design phase through deployment phase.
  • Develop and program lighting and shading controls to meet project specifications.
  • Ensure control programming aligns with client preferences while adhering to company base design standards.
  • Assist in overseeing the installation of lighting and shading fixtures in collaboration with the Project Management team.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for effective project execution.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Lighting and Shading experience.
  • Experience in the AV/Custom Integration Residential Space preferred but not required.
  • Certification in Lighting Design preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Lutron HomeWorks.
  • Experience with Lutron Shades preferred.
  • Superior understanding of lighting and shading control.
  • Client-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of current industry trends.
