Fractional CFO

This Fractional Chief Financial Officer will complete a 6 month contract with the possibility of extensions beyond that and/or conversion to direct and permanent employment at completion. This person will aim to consult the company on its current financial and accounting business setup and practices with the goal of overall business process improvement. The schedule will be about 30 hours per week, with the potential of becoming fulltime after 6+ months. This CFO must have industry experience/background in engineering and/or water treatment. This will be an onsite/in-office position in the Carrollton area.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement new processes and systems to increase productivity, revenue, and efficiency
• Evaluate and restructure finance and accounting departments as needed
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the firm's goals.
• Analyze financial data, identify strengths, weaknesses, and propose improvements.
• Create short- and long-term financial plans to ensure sustainable growth.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks.
• Assess the organization's liabilities and investments.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage capital allocation, including investment decisions.
• Evaluate potential acquisitions, partnerships, or expansion opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience as either a CFO, Fractional CFO, Controller, or Financial Consultant
• Experience advising a company's financial strategies
• Experience working in engineering and/or water treatment industries

Hourly pay will vary based upon individuals candidates' relevant experience across a range of $60.00-$73.53.
