Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized professional recruiting firm is assisting our global manufacturing client with a Quality Document Control Specialist with a QMS background to work onsite at their Crystal Springs, MS plant.Summary: Responsible for creating and/or updating Quality Management System documents with its acceptance criteria and providing relevant training and instructions to the teams within their area of responsibility about the processes.ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of Quality Management, this individual will support implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) in their area of responsibility in accordance with the Business Unit’s QMS, applicable standards, and internal regulations.Support, organize and conduct internal audits as well as certification audits. Participate in Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement activities.People And StrategyImplements and ensures adherence to applicable QMSProvides leadership and technical expertise about Quality Management System solutions to the teamsEnsures all necessary trainings for QMS are available within the appropriate tools or platforms and the organization is aware and trained.Quality Management SystemEnsures the business process mapping (BPM) is available, released, and showing the up-to-date process landscape of their scope in appropriate tool (e.g. Adonis).Ensures the document management system (DMS) holds all relevant QMS related documents as official, controlled documents.Compliance And AuditsPrepares and assists regular internal audits with all business relevant functions/departments and processes.Prepares and assists external ISO 9001 audits with external certification bodies. Ensures Business Unit’s QMS strategy is deployed at the local units.Continuous ImprovementCollaborates with cross-functional teams to support identified continuous improvement initiatives.Supports execution of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).Supports identification and execution of systematic continuous improvement actions to improve QMS process performance.Required ExperienceAt least one year of experience in a quality assurance documentation role.Completed Technical Degree at a minimum. MUST have experience as an Internal Auditor on ISO 9001 Standards, Production Quality, Document Control, CalibrationAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointQuality Management Systems (QMS) experiencPerformance Management and AnalyticContinuous Improvement Project Management (Basic)JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
