Director-Channel MarketingCapital One is seeking a result oriented and data-driven Marketing Director to fill a critical position within the Global Payment Network organization. In this role, the Director will orchestrate multi-channel initiatives to ensure acceptance and enablement readiness throughout the payment's ecosystem. The audience includes merchants, acquirers, enablers, and other network participants. The role focuses on leading strategic efforts in channel distribution, vendor partnerships, merchant analytics, and partner enablement, all aimed at driving operational excellence and enhancing the market impact of Network acceptance.Key ResponsibilitiesChannel Distribution Strategy Develop and execute go-to-market plans across direct and indirect distribution channelsAlign channel strategies with MSA analysis, merchant segmentation data and regional/MCC market dynamicsCollaborate with Sales, Customer Experience, Operations and Analytics teams to ensure channel readinessVendor Management Oversee vendor selection, onboarding, and performance evaluationNegotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs)Implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance and operational efficiencyMerchant Data Analytics Lead merchant segmentation and behavioral analysis to inform strategyPartner with Analytics to develop channel distribution models, dashboards and insightsTranslate analytics into actionable recommendations for channel teamsPayments Ecosystem Partner Strategy Build and manage strategic relationships with payment processors, enablers, and ecosystem partnersIdentify co-marketing, integration, and joint solution opportunitiesRepresent the company in industry forums and partner engagementsBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Military ExperienceAt least 10 years of professional experience at a media or advertising agency, research firm, or corporate environment in a consumer-focused rolePreferred QualificationsMBA preferred with marketing relevant coursework (esp. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Chicago, IL: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, MarketingMcLean, VA: $200,100 - $228,400 for Director, MarketingRichmond, VA: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, MarketingRiverwoods, IL: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, MarketingCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
