As part of our growth, we are seeking a Creative Manager. The Creative Manager is responsible for researching, coordinating, and executing creative initiatives that effectively promote brand messages across all channels to support sales, merchandising, and other company efforts. This role is a hands-on position that creates authentic brand experiences through various mediums such as designs, digital wireframes, motion graphics, photography, videography, advertising, content development, and social media. The Creative Manager will manage all phases of creative development, including the creative team, brand adherence, and quality control. Additionally, this position will manage third-party creative agencies and contractors and report on their performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Create digital assets (static, interactive, and HTML) for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, eCommerce, websites, email, mobile apps, etc.).
  • Utilize expertise in layout design to enhance the visual representation of website banners, social media graphics, digital banners, wireframes, landing pages, emails, etc.
  • Create creative assets from hero design to web animations.
  • Create infographics, illustrations, and other graphic elements to enhance the overall presentation of written content.
  • Manage creative staff and creative resources to achieve company branding initiatives.
  • Coordinate creative projects for efficient use of time and proper assignment of project hierarchy.
  • Coordinate external agency resources for proper and timely execution of designated projects.
  • Coordinate external resources (i.e., suppliers, models, creative talent, etc.).
  • Regularly meet with direct reports to discuss creative development and expectations.
  • Manage, train, and track the performance of creative staff.
  • Track, approve, and report departmental employee attendance and requests for paid time off.
  • Onboard, teach, coach, and discipline creative staff as required to maintain company goals.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing in implementing creative plans and materials including building and executing e-commerce, email, advertising, content, tradeshow, and social media campaigns.
  • Keep abreast of modern design trends providing recommendations for the continued improvement of graphic designs.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of design experience, preferably in a managerial role, and a degree in graphic design, digital media, or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a must and experience with HTML, UX Mapping, CSS, and ESPs (email service providers) is preferred.
  • Experience supporting the production process for video, photo, and web.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing new concepts to life.
  • This role requires a leader who can bring out the best in a team, foster collaboration, and advocate for creative excellence in every project.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple design tasks.
  • Experience creating graphics and concepts for websites, promotions, advertising, email, and social media campaigns.
  • Project management skills and strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing in marketing or advertising, Web, product, brand messaging, and promotional copy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Portfolio of work experience required.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
