The surrounding communities have great housing markets and rental properties available Moving Incentives availableOfficers working with the Upper Sioux Community will be a part of PERA and have the additional option to pay into an existing 401K account or create one.Applicants must meet Minnesota POST Board minimum selection standards and be eligible to possess a full-time Minnesota Peace Officer License by their date of application. Upper Sioux Community offers an excellent benefit package and health care plan. 11 paid holidays, vacation, and sick time. Weekly overtime is available. Current medical certification (EMT & Paramedic) an additional $3.00 per hour.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:1.) Must be 21 years of age or older by desired start date2.) Must have a valid driver's license; AND3.) Must be eligible to possess and lawfully use a firearm, and successfully qualify with a handgun and other department weapons according to existing department qualification standards; AND4.) Must be P.O.S.T licensed or be eligible for licensing by the Minnesota P.O.S.T. board at the time of hire.
