Sanitation Janitor PositionExpress in Bellingham is seeking a Sanitation Janitor to join a busy food manufacturing company. This company offers a competitive 401(k) plan, discounts on products, and a work-life balance, and is looking for its next long-term fit. The right person for this role would have previous sanitation experience, have excellent communication, be organized, and be looking to grow in their role. Pay is $20.50/hr to start. The shift is Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM-4:30 AM. Position type is evaluation and the location is Bellingham, WA.Job duties & responsibilities include:Performing cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by Lead Hand Sanitation Assistant and Sanitation ManagerAssisting with the clean-in-place processAssisting with freezer and High Temperature/Short Time machine, cleaning, and sanitationUtilizing the appropriate cleaning/sanitation methods, cleaning by company standards, to perform daily cleaning, including but not limited to equipment, floors, pipes, tanks, tubs, and wallsUtilizing chemicals cautiously and safely, and documenting the usageRemoving debris and garbage from the food manufacturing plantAssembling and disassembling, including but not limited to: equipment, machines, and partsCommunicating with the supervisor/team leader if any equipment/tools need attention or suffer from quality issuesPerforming a test for cleanlinessAttending and actively participating in seminars and training relevant to the jobComplete safety checks on the workstation/workplace before conducting workMaintains/ensures a clean, safe, and well-organized working environmentAdheres to company policies, regulations, and rulesOther job duties as assignedCompany benefits after probationary period include: extended health care, dental care, life insurance, on-site parking, vacation & paid time off, discounted food, PTO, sick pay, and 401K.Benefits available to eligible Express associates include: medical plan, dental plan, holiday pay (6 observed days), 401(K) retirement savings plan, vision/eyewear plan, life insurance, prescription drug reimbursement, short term disability, referral bonus, weekly pay, direct deposit, and visa cash card.We take walk-in interviews Monday-Friday, or you can call or text us at 360.734.2457 for an immediate phone interview or come in to see us We are open from 7:00 AM-5:00 PM.Double the reward referral program Know someone looking for work or open to new opportunities?
