Rancho Cotate High School seeks a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the Head Varsity Baseball Coach position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baseball and a strong commitment to developing student-athletes on and off the field.


Position Description

This is a Stipend Position for a Head Varsity Baseball Coach in Rohnert Park, CA. As the Head Varsity Baseball Coach, you will lead the Rancho Cotate High School baseball program, develop and implement training programs, organize and supervise practices and games, coordinate with school and league officials, and mentor and support student-athletes.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience coaching baseball at the high school level or above
  • Strong knowledge of baseball rules, strategies, and techniques
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Familiarity with CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) regulations (preferred)
  • Passion for and commitment to the development of student-athletes
  • CPR/First Aid course completion
  • Applicable Coaching Courses
  • Concussion Training
  • Fundamentals of Coaching Course
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest
