Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)We are searching for an experienced CNA to provide compassionate care to the elderly and to SNF, rehab, and LTAC patients. Your tasks will include listening to and conversing with the patient, helping them with grooming, and providing regular, personal bedside care to ensure that their quality of life is as comfortable as possible.Duties of a CNA include:Communicating and tracking medical changesBathing and dressingPersonal care, including hair, skin, oral, and nailsHelping with toileting or incontinence careLight meal preparation and light housekeepingTasks to ensure a clean and comfortable environmentSpending time with patients and educating family membersHospice qualifications:Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials and current good standing with the state of NevadaEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, to include some evenings and weekends as neededComfortable driving to assigned hospice patients in extreme weather (hot/cold conditions)Ability to apply sound or good judgment to carry out instructionsHigh integrity, including maintenance of confidential informationValid driver's license and auto liability insuranceA heart for providing compassionate careJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diemPay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingPaid sick timePaid time offMedical specialties: Hospice & Palliative MedicinePhysical setting: Long term careStandard shift: Day shiftOvernight shiftSupplemental schedule: HolidaysOn callOvertimeWeekly schedule: Monday to WednesdayThursday to SaturdayWeekend availabilityWe are an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to a work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
