If you're a strategic, people-first operator who excels at balancing safety, service, and financial performance across multi-site dedicated programs, this role offers the opportunity to lead with impact.How you'll work:Location: Onsite in La Mirada, CA (16400 Knott Ave, La Mirada, CA 90638)Travel: Primarily local Southern California travel, with limited overnight travel including quarterly trips to Iowa.Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the salary wage range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $129,000-$175,000 per year. You'll own safety, service execution, and financial performance while partnering closely with customers to ensure programs scale sustainably and deliver on contractual commitments at large-scale, multi-site levels.What you'll do:Lead dedicated operations across multiple customers, regions, and sites in large-scale, high-volume environments, ensuring consistent safety, service, and financial outcomesServe as the senior operational partner for assigned customers, aligning CRST leadership with customer leadership to strengthen long-term relationshipsOwn operational and financial performance across dedicated accounts, including budgets, profitability, and strategic investments with direct accountability for $50M+ P&LLead and develop senior operations leaders to build strong site leadership, accountability, and successionEnsure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and customer-specific safety and service requirementsMonitor operational and financial performance across accounts, identifying risks and driving continuous improvementPartner cross-functionally with sales, safety, maintenance, finance, HR, and planning teams to support account stability and growthLead operational readiness for new dedicated launches, expansions, and customer transitionsDrive long-term operational strategies that improve service consistency, customer satisfaction, and retentionWhat great looks like:Proven success leading large-scale dedicated or contract transportation operations (500+ power unit environments)Strong customer-facing leader comfortable partnering with executive stakeholdersTrack record of building consistent, repeatable operating models in less-structured or evolving environmentsAbility to balance contractual service commitments with financial disciplineTrusted people leader with demonstrated success developing fleet and senior operations leaders in complex markets such as Southern CaliforniaQualifications:Required:Leadership experience managing large-scale, multi-site dedicated trucking operationsDemonstrated success leading through multiple layers of senior operations leadership, not limited to front-line or fleet managersStrong understanding of DOT compliance, safety, and service delivery within dedicated trucking environmentsExperience owning large P&L responsibility ($50M+), including full end-to-end operational accountabilityExperience operating in organizations with 500+ power unitsPreferred:Four-year degree or applicable work experience with demonstrated successExperience leading complex, customer-embedded dedicated programs at scaleProven ability to manage executive customer relationships and contract performanceExperience launching or scaling dedicated operationsDemonstrated change leadership in evolving customer environmentsWhy CRST?CRST is celebrating 70 years of grit, growth, and forward momentuma legacy built on safety, integrity, and delivering on our commitments.
