Position Summary The Department of Chemistry is currently seeking adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and student learning in a Christian work environment. The College offers both daytime and evening adjunct opportunities. Job Responsibilities Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established departmental and institutional guidelines. Provide timely, quality access to students via electronic communication and other appropriate methods. Evaluate students by established means to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and to inform them in a timely manner of their progress. Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community. Submit paperwork and forms in a timely fashion. Must be available to students outside of the classroom. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications: Master's degree in chemistry with at least 18 graduate semester hours in chemistry. Doctorate in chemistry and a demonstrated record of quality teaching is preferred. Ability to teach introductory chemistry lecture and laboratories and general chemistry lectures and laboratories.
