We are dedicated to providing exceptional maternal and pediatric care in the home setting. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Maternal Care to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of mothers, newborns, and pediatric patients while working locally in the tri-state area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality maternal and pediatric care in a home health setting, including assessments, planning, and implementation of care.
- Experience: Utilize your experience in MedSurg, maternal and child care, critical care, and pediatrics to deliver comprehensive care to patients in their homes.
- Documentation and Coordination: Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about care plans, health management, and available resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in MedSurg, maternal and child care, critical care, and pediatrics. Recent (within the last 2 years) experience in maternal child home health is required.
- Licenses and Certifications: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS.
- Skills: Proficiency in maternal/child nursing, pediatric nursing, and certified home health care.
Schedule:
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, depending on assigned cases.
- Flexibility: Must have recent home health experience and be available for local assignments in the tri-state area. Out-of-state candidates will not be considered.
