- Make an Impact The Licensed Practical Nurse makes observations and collects data to assist the RN for assessment. The Licensed Practical Nurse implements physiological and psychological care for patients as planned by and under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. Position: Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN - Spruce Unit (Amputee and Spinal Cord Inj)
Shift: 36 hours/week, Evening Shift (11:00a-11:30p) with weekend and Holiday rotations
Experience:
Unit-specific: At least (1) year of recent Acute Rehab, or relate Inpatient experience
Education:
1. Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
2. Ability to communicate proficiently in English to perform job duties
Licensures/Certifications:
1. A current PA LPN license or temporary practice permit to practice in PA OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Maintains validation of current BLS training (CPR).
3. Certification in specialty area desired
