Software Engineer - Data Engineering III Primary Location: Cincinnati, Ohio V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Software Engineer - Data Engineering III for our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio. Education and Experience " Proven experience with large-scale database migrations (10K+ customers, multiple LOBs). Strong understanding of Payments and Treasury Management products. Expertise in ETL processes, SQL, and Python for automation. Familiarity with Cloud data services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, and compliance best practices. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities " Must Have: Business Intelligence - Data Engineering. DB and SQL knowledge. Enterprise Applications. Previous large scale migration experience. Nice To Have: Experience with Java and WebSphere Application Server (WAS 9). Knowledge of data modeling and automation frameworks. Python or some ETL language skills. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities: Build and optimize ETL pipelines and Python automation scripts for data processing and reconciliation. Design and implement data migration strategies from DB2 to Cloud. Define and execute migration phases, checkpoints, and quality controls. Collaborate with DBAs, architects, application teams, and business stakeholders across multiple lines of business. Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
