As a Senior Product Designer at Sameday.AI, you will be pivotal in crafting exceptional user experiences for our SaaS products. You will focus on designing intuitive interfaces and creating reusable components, driving innovation and ensuring our customers' needs are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategize with Product Managers, Developers, and Tech Writers: Collaborate to determine the high-level vision, strategy, and goals of our products.
  • Drive Research Efforts: Prioritize customer insights using research best practices to inform design decisions.
  • Construct User Flows, Wireframes, and Prototypes: Effectively communicate design concepts for validation.
  • Provide Design Direction and Feedback: Offer guidance to other designers on the team, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Mentor and Guide Other Designers: Lead by example, helping team members grow and develop their skills.
  • Contribute to Team Culture: Positively shape the design team’s culture through collaboration, feedback, and process iteration.
  • Develop Intuitive Interfaces: Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for Sameday.AI’s SaaS products, ensuring an engaging experience across platforms.
  • Utilize Design Techniques: From initial sketches to comprehensive mockups, effectively communicate your vision to team members and stakeholders.
  • Apply Qualitative and Quantitative Data: Guide design decisions, focusing on user needs while driving business growth.
  • Conduct User Testing: Explore new ideas, validate user experience designs, and promote continuous learning and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Product Management: Plan and design high-impact initiatives for successful implementation.
  • Develop Component Library: Work with Visual Design and engineering teams to ensure quality and consistency across all platforms.


Basic Requirements:

  • In-office work required: This is not a remote position. Our office is located in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
  • 8+ Years of Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in designing digital products and systems.
  • Ownership of Product Design Strategy: Proven track record of leading and contributing to visual and technical direction from start to finish.
  • High Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in Figma, wireframing, workflow diagramming, and prototyping.
  • Collaboration Skills: Successful collaboration with product management, visual design, and engineering teams.
  • Action-Oriented: Ability to demonstrate a bias for action, focusing on speed, iteration, and communication.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Articulate complex design concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Self-Motivated: Thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Compelling Portfolio: Showcase a diverse range of designs and user testing initiatives, with a focus on direct contributions and measurable impacts.
  • Experience with UI Component Libraries: Focus on accessibility is highly desirable.
  • Passion for Innovative Design: Create solutions that resonate with our target audience and drive user engagement.


Advanced Requirements (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Experience in Fintech: Knowledge of financial technology products and systems.
  • Development Experience: Background in coding and software development.
  • Regulated Environment Experience: Familiarity with working in regulated industries.
