Department/Unit: Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61 The Clinical Nurse Level II plays a crucial role in fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues by demonstrating kindness and active listening. Hourly Range: $36.73 - $60.93 The ideal candidate will: Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments in accordance with policy and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions effectively. Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided. Exercise sound judgment in managing patient care decisions. Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administer prescribed and over-the-counter medications as directed. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans for all patients. Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree. Active New York State Registered Nurse license. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills. Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply problem-solving techniques.
