Talent Depot is seeking a highly skilled professional to drive all aspects of major subcontract execution ensuring optimal performance in cost schedule execution and quality. This role requires full integration of the subcontract work scope within the program encompassing proposals negotiations and contract execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subcontract Execution: Oversee all phases of subcontract execution ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.

  • Contract Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in various contract types including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Cost Reimbursement Time & Materials (T&M) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF).

  • Negotiation Skills: Leverage advanced negotiation skills to engage with subcontractors ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with program goals.

  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor performance addressing issues and driving improvements to enhance program outcomes.

  • Technical Review: Review technical Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure clarity and eliminate ambiguity holding all relevant functions accountable for meeting requirements.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements Prime Contract flow downs International Trade Compliance (ITAR EAR) and other applicable regulations.

  • Documentation and Strategy: Negotiate legal documents and develop supply chain strategies that improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Return on Investment (ROI).

  • Risk Management: Identify and manage program risks associated with subcontract execution developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Industry Requirement: At least 5 years of experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proven working knowledge of FAR/DFAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
  • Must have prior experience with titles that include Subcontract roles and responsibilities.
  • Location: Position is fully onsite in Fort Wayne Indiana. Relocation assistance is provided.
  • Proven experience in subcontract execution and management within a complex program environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of contract types and government proposal processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Clearance: DoD Clearance is desired though not required.
