Summary:The Night Custodian (Substitute) will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility during the night shift. This position will be on-call and will fill in for the full-time Night Custodian when they are unavailable.Responsibilities:* Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas* Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors* Dust and wipe down surfaces* Empty trash and recycling bins* Restock supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels* Monitor and maintain the security of the facility* Notify management of any maintenance or safety issues* Follow all safety protocols and proceduresRequirements:* High school diploma or equivalent* Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred* Ability to work independently and efficiently* Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning* Strong communication skills to report any issues or concerns* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time* Flexibility to work on-call and fill in for the full-time Night Custodian as needed.Must be able to pass a background check and physical test.
