Assistant Payroll SupervisorA client based in Jersey City, NJ is currently seeking an Assistant Payroll Supervisor on a contract basis. The Assistant Payroll Supervisor will support the processing of semi-monthly, multi-state payroll for 4,000+ employees, and manage deductions, garnishments, bonuses, and benefits accruals. Additionally, the Assistant Payroll Supervisor will reconcile payroll taxes, assist with some expense reimbursement activities, prepare payroll journal entries, and handle any payroll corrections. Recent experience working on UltiPro UKG is a mustRequirements:Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, including multi-state payroll.Proficiency in using payroll systems such as UltiPro or UKG Pro.Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and garnishment processing.Ability to process and reconcile complex payroll adjustments and corrections.Excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.Experience in conducting audits and preparing payroll reports for accounting purposes.Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and train team members.Familiarity with managing deductions, bonuses, and benefits accrual payments for large employee groups.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
