Office/Quality ManagerWe, at Leggett & Platt Flooring Products, are searching for an Office/Quality Manager to support our Cape Girardeau, MO branch, with around 45 employees. Leggett & Platt Inc. is the largest manufacturer of carpet cushion and hard surface underlayment in the United States. Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task, analyze data, and maintain systems. We are looking for a self-motivated team player with excellent analytical skills. If you can manage multiple areas while demonstrating a propensity for intuitive thinking, and resourcefulness then we are looking for youResponsibilitiesEnsure administrative activities are compliant with Company and Branch policies and proceduresIdentify business needs, legal requirements and reporting regulationsAssist with training initiatives, performance management and development programs, and other organizational initiatives as determined by the businessCreate and upload journal entriesMaintain the Branch general ledgerAnalyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsReconcile accounts in accordance with company policyOversee inventory and compile inventory worksheetsAnalyze production data, identify trends and provide insights to the Production team.Lead and mentor a team of quality auditors throughout the Branch.Implement and maintain the Company Quality Program.Communicate with personnel of all levels across the Branch, Division and Company.Other duties as assignedRequirementsPrior experience with general ledgers, financial statements, and overseeing inventoryFamiliar with quality control systems.Experience with analyzing and improving systems.Ability to organize multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines effectivelyExceptional attention to detailExceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills across all levels of the organizationStrong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.Prior experience in manufacturing environmentPrior experience in a Quality roleNow that you've had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for Apply today and allow us the opportunity to learn more about you and the value you can bring to our team.
