The Intellectual Property Group at this leading law firm is in search of a Mid-Level Patent Litigation Associate with at least 5 years of experience to join either the New York or Washington, D.C. office.

About the Team

  • The IP Litigation team comprises experienced trial Attorneys with the technical acumen necessary to address intricate IP disputes, covering patent, trademark, and copyright litigation, along with Section 337 investigations.
  • The team has a track record of successfully representing innovators, patent holders, and brand owners in federal courts, before the International Trade Commission (ITC), in administrative proceedings, and in arbitration and mediation nationwide.


About You

  • The ideal candidate should possess a background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • They should have extensive expertise in all aspects of patent litigation, including leading depositions, drafting expert reports, composing and presenting motions, preparing infringement/invalidity analyses, and handling appeals.
  • Candidates must hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be duly admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar.


The salary range for associate positions is $205,000 to $365,000 per year, depending upon associate level.
