LaSalle Network has partnered with a client for an exciting hybrid opportunity with 3 days per week onsite in Chicago The Cyber Security Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting our client's Cyber Security team by coordinating and managing various projects aimed at protecting the organization's digital assets. This position involves working closely with IT, compliance and other departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope and in accordance with security standards.

Cyber Security Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution and monitoring of cyber security projects
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports and meeting minutes
  • Track and report on project progress, identifying and escalating risks and issues as necessary
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders and leadership
  • Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring that action items are documented and tracked
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel and budget, to ensure project success
  • Assist in the procurement of tools, services and technologies necessary for project execution
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that deliverables meet defined standards and specifications
  • Provide support to team members on project management processes and tools
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and sessions for end users and stakeholders


Cyber Security Project Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably within the cyber security or IT sector
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, MS Project, JIRA
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or similar certification is a plus
  • Security-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are advantageous
