They are in search of a dynamic and experienced Principal Controls Systems Engineer to join their team and lead the control systems engineering efforts.


About the role: The Principal Controls Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems for our products and processes. This role requires a deep understanding of control theory, automation, and systems integration. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the highest standards of quality and performance in control systems design and implementation.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct system modeling, simulation, and analysis to validate control strategies.
  • Lead the design and development of control systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Manage and lead control systems projects from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in control systems engineering and incorporate relevant innovations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
  • Proficiency in control theory, automation, and systems integration.

Experience with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other control systems technologies.

  • Prior experience with Emerson Delta V and or Honeywell Experion preferred.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
