Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in respiratory therapeutics and equipment operation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Ensure quality control and maintenance of equipment.
  • Adhere to Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
  • Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences.
  • Completion of Orlando Health's Respiratory Clinical Ladder training.
  • Basic computer and mechanical training.
Licensure/Certification:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Florida.
  • Maintains active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
  • Active membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).
