Job Description and Responsibilities

Collect data from patients, administer medications, reinforce patient education, provide wound care, supervise unlicensed personnel, collect specimen samples, ensure medical equipment functionality, call doctors for orders, coordinate patient care, insert peripheral IV lines, perform intake/output monitoring, clean tracheostomy ties, respond to emergencies, G-Tube and Trach care, Nebulizer treatments, maintain narcotic logs, aid patients with daily living activities, supervise CNA staff.

Skills
  • Proven experience as an LPN
  • Ability to undertake diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Understanding confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
  • Perfect physical condition and stamina
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress
