Agent, Asset Protection (North LA area)Full-timeCompany DescriptionWhat Will You Be Doing?Responsible for the execution of Asset Protection initiatives in assigned locations (3-6 stores), as well as, implementation of shortage reduction programs in high shrink location(s)Partner with local store management to meet strategic Asset Protection objectivesEffectively leverage business and sales performance as a means for shortage reductionParticipate in store associate training regarding approved Asset Protection initiatives and workshopsRoutine assessment of store operations, pre-shrink indicators, and safety compliance measures through operational auditsProvide clear and consistent training to all store personnel on safety communication guidelines and current crisis management protocolsProactively monitor controls and conduct surveillance to identify and investigate associate dishonestyConduct investigations and interviews for inventory, cash loss, and violations of policyConduct surveillance using CCTV or floor techniques to apprehend and deter theft in accordance with the company apprehension policiesInitiate and support investigations related to Organized Retail Crime while partnering with Zone ORC Investigator and local law enforcementComplete special projects as assigned by Regional Manager of Asset ProtectionWhat Do You Need To Bring?4-year degree preferred2 or more years of experience in the Asset Protection field or relevant experience in retail settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelinesAbility to work nights, evenings and weekends appropriate to retail business needsMust pass a comprehensive background investigationMust have a reliable means of transportationPreferred to be Wicklander - Zulawski trained in interviewingMust fulfill all physical requirements including standing and walkingOur CompanyAbercrombie & Fitch Co. is a global, digitally led omnichannel specialty retailer of apparel and accessories catering to kids through millennials with assortments curated for their specific lifestyle needs.The company operates a family of brands, including Abercrombie & Fitch, YPB, abercrombie kids, Hollister and Gilly Hicks, each sharing a commitment to offer products of enduring quality and exceptional comfort that support global customers on their journey to being and becoming who they are.
