LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our clients' growing manufacturing operations in the Solon, Ohio area. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Client Offers: Salary 80-90K based on experience, annual bonus, 100% company-paid benefits, 401K company match, 3 weeks PTO, growing organization, and a collaborative atmosphere

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
  • Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide strong leadership to the manufacturing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Set clear expectations, mentor team members, and promote professional development.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any quality issues.
  • Uphold and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements as needed.
  • Monitor and manage manufacturing budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize material costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing lean manufacturing principles and identifying areas for operational enhancement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the manufacturing team.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on production metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical a must- MS a plus.
  • Proven experience in plant management within a manufacturing environment for 10 years.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for strategic decision-making.
  • Implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
