Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer with extensive experience in React and building enterprise-level SaaS applications. This role, based in our Raleigh, NC office, involves developing high-quality, scalable, and innovative web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using React and Redux.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
  • Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers.
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides.
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes.
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong emphasis on React.js.
  • Proven track record of developing enterprise-level SaaS applications.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Experience with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, NPM, and Yarn.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds.
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MongoDB and node.js
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a public GitHub repository.
