DetailsClient Name Trinity Health Grand Rapids Job Type Permanent Offering Locums Profession Physician Specialty Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Perinatology Job ID 29974418 Job Title Perm - Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine Grand Rapids, MI Shift DetailsShift Day - 8x5 - 08AM Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order DetailsStart Date 12/15/2025 Duration 0 Job Description Job Title: Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Job Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Job Duration: Full-time Shift: Days with on-call duties Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Open to experienced Board Certified providers or recently Board Eligible graduates License: Michigan license (or willingness to obtain) Certifications: - Board Certified in OB/GYN (required) - Board Eligible to become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (required) - DEA (or willingness to obtain) - BLS, ACLS (or willingness to obtain) Must-Have: - Clean malpractice history preferred - Open to H1B visa candidates, but J1 waivers not accepted Job Description: - Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine, managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans and act as their main source for referrals. - Serve as a Regional Physician primarily providing services in designated locations with some travel required. - Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents. - Assigned a Medical Assistant, Sonographer, and additional support staff at all offices. - Share on-call responsibilities with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Partner/Medical Director, primarily handling phone calls with hospital visits as needed. - Not considering candidates with lapsed Board Certification. - Compensation includes a competitive salary range based on experience and training, a starting bonus, possible student loan incentive, relocation assistance if applicable, a full-time benefit package, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, CME funds, and professional membership support. - Employer contribution match available for 403b retirement plan.
