Job Description Position Title: Director of Tax Location: Mentor, OH Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Director of Tax to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing a multifaceted group of companies. This position will have a wide range of responsibilities impacting the family of companies. Responsibilities: Provide tax compliance and advisory services to the company and family Proactively research new and existing tax code to lower the companies' tax liability Suggest restructuring for tax liability purposes, when appropriate Participate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations Assist CFO with other tasks as assigned Qualifications: Recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships, and strong knowledge of ASC 740 Experience in construction, manufacturing, or family office tax advising Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information Opening Doors to Incredible Opportunities: For over two decades, Capstone has been working with elite organizations from Fortune 500s to start-ups in some of the most competitive market sectors.
