TrendHR is recruiting for a busy home health client near Rockwall, TX. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with one year experience in home healthcare. Our client offers great benefits, including a generous PTO policy, healthcare and 401k plan. The ideal candidate will need to be okay with extensive local travel but will be reimbursed for mileage. This is an immediate need and the opportunity is a direct hire with our client.


RESPONSIBILITITES: include the following but not limited to:

 

·        Adhere to BON guidelines and HCS Principles

·        Complete Comprehensive Nursing Assessments

·        Complete Medication Training

·        Make CRA determinations

·        Administer and monitor medications

·        Secure emergency medical services when needed

·        Administer healthcare procedures as directed by a provider

·        Participate in Annual and Special Planning Conferences

·        Be on call after office hours, as needed

·        Handle consumer crises with appropriate response

·        Compose monthly progress notes

·        Charting for Quality Assurance and to be survey ready at all times


QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Current Texas RN Licensure

·        Minimum of one year experience home health

·        One or more years working with people with disabilities

·        Knowledge of accepted nursing procedures for individuals with disabilities

·        Must be team player and build good relations with clients and families

·        Adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Board of Nursing (BON) and the HCS Principles

·        Current, valid Texas driver’s license

·        Liability insurance, dependable transportation

·        Recent TB test

·        CPR and First Aid certification
