Our client in Dallas, TX is looking to hire a Data and Automation engineer on a long term contract basis with a potential of going perm. This position is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Data & Automation Test Engineer will be working with data intensive project, visualization, reports, Dashboard and Automation Projects.


Responsibilities

  • Immediate responsibility to support the project which requires Very Strong SQL, AWS Athena, Data Pipelines, Data analysis skills.
  • Understanding of the Data, Business value is important.
  • Develop Automation scripts in Java script , Java Automation frameworks for Automation team.
  • Advanced SQL Querying skills is a must.
  • Hands on experience with Automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Karate
  • Must have Agile experience and hands on Azure, CI/CD, Java, Java Script, git
  • Define test strategy/test plan and test scripts with best test practices
  • Define the overall process and deliverables across SDLC for engineering quality like templates, checklists and tools (for test management / defect / reporting/Dashboard)
  • Work with the product owner and development team to define and prioritize test cases to meet sprint goals and automation goals for CI/CD pipeline.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Testing vertical
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Equivalent experience required
  • Hands on experience using Java, JavaScript programming building test scripts in Java, JS based framework
  • Worked in a fast-paced Agile development environment
  • Perform test readiness and operational readiness review activities
  • Strong problem solving Skills, written skills, verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, QA bend of mind , capable of breaking robust software
  • Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethic
  • Good to have Performance Skills using tools Jmeter, K6
