Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and enhance supplier performance.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish long-term partnerships and ensure quality and reliability of supplies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, pricing, and potential new suppliers.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to align procurement strategies with business goals.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities and supplier performance.
  • Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to improve procurement efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance and market volatility.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on sourcing and supplier management.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
