PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a full time Inpatient PM&R interested in building a practice and growing with the Charleston, SC community.  This opportunity has a great financial package available including income guarantee and full relocation.  

  • Income Guarantee + signing incentives/relocation
  • See 15 - 20 patients
  • Effective Marketing teams based at acute care hospitals
  • Ability to consult at local acute care hospitals if desired

Charleston is a stunning and picturesque location where it houses world-class golf courses and is known for its coastal beauty. Charleston features numerous restaurants and boutiques. Build sandcastles and splash in the waves on one of the top 10 family beaches in the United States.

PRACTICE MODEL

PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients and an outpatient rehabilitation practice if he or she chooses.  The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections.  Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes - Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas. 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or similar specialty
  • Patient-centered commitment to excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred
  • New Grads Accepted
