You plan, organize and control the retail segment’s inside selling effort for the accounts assigned. You will aid our Outside Sales Team to ensure sales objectives are attained as assigned on a consistent basis for the retail product line. You will also aid in the establishment of territory, distributor and account objectives and develop plans for their accomplishment. You are also responsible for receiving, processing and fulfilling Electronic Purchase Orders.
Inside Sales Rep Responsibilities:
• Responsible for delivering combined product sales of Retail Products according to approved sales and marketing plans.
• Properly handle all customer requests, problems or special situations relating to our products’ performance.
• Lead active follow-up call out and upsell program on established customers and leads.
• Generate new sales leads via an aggressive active call out program on retailers across North America.
• Improve business relationships with key account decision makers by actual account calls utilizing pull and push methods.
• Provide sales support to assigned Outside Sales team members.
• Support and communicate with your supervisor(s) about any and all factors or activities which affect your assigned accounts or Outside Sales Representatives.
• Minimize freight impact by selling additional products to existing sales orders.
• Strategically choose the best FTL and LTL Carrier for your orders based on price, value and order timeliness.
• Keep all records up-to-date, accurate, neat and readily accessible.
• Timely submission of sales reports and expense reports to meet monthly deadlines.
• Receiving, processing and fulfilling Electronic Purchase Orders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

o Keep on top of communication and be proactive by anticipating needed communication

o Support decisions with appropriate evidence and rationale.
o Perform with absolute honesty and diplomacy managing multiple distributors in the territory.
Inside Sales Rep Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience gained through employment in an Inside Sales or Customer Service role where calling on Distributors, Architects and Contractors.
• Adequate Inside Sales experience to perform all the necessary sales functions required.
• Professional knowledge and skills required, and if in a professional sales position, a comprehensive technical background.
• Familiarity with the process of receiving, processing and fulfilling Electronic Purchase Orders.
