JOB SUMMARY

The System & Data Analyst Manager role requires direct experience analyzing system and data of financial forecasting, planning, and analysis for back office functions of multiple business verticals. This individual has existing FP&A responsibilities in supply chain, transportation, or logistics and needs to make and manage methods to improve work efficiencies including process automation.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities is to develop and maintain financial reporting, planning, analysis and automations for the following key verticals:

1. Drayage

2. Warehousing

3. Truck Brokerage

4. Freight Forwarding

5. Industrial Carload

6. Intermodal

7. Market Intelligence and dashboards for internal and external purpose



Other Job Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with teams to develop frameworks (such as dashboard) for automating key processes,
  • including RPA (Robotic Process Automation).


  • Coordinate and collaborate with teams not to limited to financial tasks to develop frameworks for automating key processes by using various methods such as Robotics Process Automation.


  • Gather, review, and communicate fact-based insights into performance variances and trends.


  • Provide financial analysis and insights that are timely, accurate, insightful, and actionable.


  • Support the development of competitive solutions and proposals through assisting in costing of services for each vertical.


  • Manage and develop the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes, including monthly financial reviews, quarterly business reviews, and budgeting and operating planning processes for each vertical.


Establish, improve, and execute financial processes that provide timely, accurate, and actionable data to manage each vertical and continually improve ROI. Provide ongoing budget and spending control oversight to each vertical leadership team.


Communicate issues and concerns with operations and senior management when required.


Responsible for creating and delivering high-quality presentations to senior leadership in the US and South Korea.


In partnership with internal and external customers, drive process strategies and improvements for all operations.


Closely partner and collaborate with Accounting Teams and Vertical Leaders to understand root causes of financial performance, analyze trends, identify potential issues, and potential solutions.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in finance or accounting or MBA degree is a must have for this role
  • Strong knowledge base of the logistics industry and marketplace financial reporting specifics
  • Strong knowledge and experiences of analyzing the current processes and data to suggest process innovation by developing tools, IT set ups including servers for Robotics Process Automation working environment
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills to deliver effective, confident, and results-oriented communications and presentations
  • Excellent analytical skills – assess, design and develop financial metrics to assist daily operations along with the ability to use trend analysis in a predictive fashion
  • Possess a proven track record in achieving and exceeding goals and deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and some level of experience with CRM systems and various financial packages and ERP systems
