A client of Insight Global is looking for a Full Stack Developer with at least 5 years of recent professional development experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack, integrating with AWS services, and writing Lambda functions. The candidate should have strong fundamental programming skills in JavaScript, ReactJS, Node.js, and MongoDB, as well as a deep understanding of cloud computing and serverless architecture.



Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, well-tested code for web applications using the MERN stack, AWS services, and Lambda Functions.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure the development of features in the product are in line with the overall roadmap and vision.
  • Write Lambda functions to enhance application functionality and improve scalability.
  • Interface with enterprise backend systems via REST API's.
  • Experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problems.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.



Requirements:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality code.
  • Eagerness to experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problems.
  • Experience building web applications that interface with enterprise backend systems via REST API's.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services such as writing Lambda functions, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and EC2.
  • Proven experience working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
  • Strong knowledge of ReactJS, TypeScript or JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS services.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and JavaScript concepts.
  • 5+ years of recent professional development experience (not freelance/hobby experience).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

$140,000 to $160,000 per year annual salary.
