Your strategic vision will help serve customers and transform lives through innovative solutions and impactful connections.Overall Purpose: State and Local Tax Audit Management - Responsible for the completion of state and local tax audits.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Conducts entire process of completing complex tax audits with state and local jurisdictions. Will be responsible for pulling and analyzing data to provide to auditors. Will also need to have strong knowledge of all aspects of transaction tax process including research and planning, compliance, exemptions, taxability, and billing systems. Need to have the ability to research various state tax laws and regulations to determine agreement with audit findings. Must have strong communication and social skills to work efficiently with auditors. Will be responsible for advising management of the tax issues that are discovered during the audits.Job Contribution: Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.Experience: Typically requires 5-7 years experience.
