Continuous Improvement Supervisor

Solenis is a 2024 US Best Managed Company, recognized four years in a row.The Production Supervisor oversees and supports Shift Leaders and Operators to ensure company goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost are consistently met. This role collaborates across departments to address issues within the production environment, enforces company policies, and promotes a positive, engaged team culture. This is a full-time position on an 8-hour, 5-day-per-week schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to the Production Team, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Assign daily tasks and coordinate workflow for Shift Leaders and Operators.Foster a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to safety protocols and conducting regular safety checks.Monitor raw material availability and coordinate timely deliveries to maintain production flow.Train, coach, and develop team members, promoting an inclusive and respectful workplace culture.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality.Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations.Oversee equipment operation and troubleshoot issues, coordinating with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.Ensure compliance with production specifications, batch tolerances, and quality standards through regular audits.Perform administrative tasks, support production scheduling, and uphold housekeeping and policy compliance on the production floor.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Technical degree from 2-year college/university (preferred)3 plus years of manufacturing experience (preferred)Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and OutlookMinimum 1 year leadership experience requiredMust be self-directed, motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment; Work schedule flexibility, with no advance notice, to accommodate needs of the organizationAt Solenis, we understand that our greatest asset is our people.
