Responsibilities

The Facility Integrity Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of their respective facilities. This role requires a strong background in mechanical integrity, project oversight, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance within the context of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise and a proactive approach to enhancing facility integrity practices and general PSM compliance.

  • Oversee MI (Mechanical Integrity) inspection projects, including defining Statements of Work (SOW) and ensuring project oversight to maintain asset integrity and PSM compliance.
  • Assist in developing project SOW and overseeing execution. Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate or support RCA processes for incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist in incident investigation activities, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage PSM 14 Element requirements, conduct gap analyses, and assist in implementing necessary improvements and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with RMP plans for all facilities, coordinating updates and revisions as required.
  • Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) process by acting as the MOC coordinator for respective facilities.
  • Lead PSSR efforts and records management for facility changes.
  • Support Audit Specialists during PSM and RMP third-party and regulatory audits.
  • Support RBI implementation efforts, including data gathering and analysis to support risk-based decision-making.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Engineering teams during various stages of RBI implementation to ensure feedback is incorporated into the risk program.
  • Facilitate and manage PHA revalidation processes for facilities, ensuring compliance with PSM and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in PSM and facility integrity management within a regulated industry (e.g., oil and gas, chemical manufacturing).
  • Possess a valid driver‘s license with a good driving record.
  • Strong understanding of PSM, RMP, and other regulatory requirements related to facility operations and process safety.
  • Experience in project management, including defining project scopes, overseeing execution, and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
