We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.What You'll DoAs a Statewide Regional Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting delinquency prevention efforts across Northwest Florida by coordinating and communicating with Office of Prevention Services leadership and community stakeholders. It also assists with additional Prevention Services duties as needed. The role requires schedule flexibility, including some evening and weekend work.Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:Coordinates and communicates with Office of Prevention Services management and stakeholders on concerns related to delinquency prevention; assists, when necessary, in carrying out duties and responsibilities of other Prevention Services activities.Educates community stakeholders on delinquency prevention programming, research and policies; planning, coordination and participation in community outreach and engagement activities; coordinates and/or facilitates.Prevention Services youth and community events; develops and maintains effective partnerships and affiliations with local community organizations.Performs routine visits to contracted Prevention programs; provides technical assistance as needed, to contracted providers to ensures compliance with contracted terms and conditions; provides written summary of input and feedback with contracted providers.The position conducts routine observations through on-site visits; assists in the provision of technical assistance; in-service training and guidance on contractual issues statewide for Prevention services. The position will review provider deficiencies, assists in resolving deficiencies and resolve program related incidents.Drafts quarterly and monthly reports and submit on a timely basis; evaluates data from outcome measures and requirements and make recommendations to management; conduct annual property inventory.Positions shall work at the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, 2737 Centerview Drive, or work location designated by Office of Prevention Services in assigned counties.Positions shall work schedule workday/hours as approved by the Department of Juvenile Justice Office of Prevention Services.Who We're Looking ForA bachelor's degree or its equivalent and two years of related experience. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the required experience. Also, requires a valid driver's license.Knowledge of training plans, curriculum, and instructional design and development, as well as the implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and specialty training events and programs. Skilled in teaching and facilitation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software, and in utilizing equipment required for the position.Able to assess training needs and objectives and to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives, including training plans, curricula, and methodologies. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Skilled in managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing responsibilities with high attention to detail. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word.Able to determine work priorities; plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments; solve problems; and make decisions. Able to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to fiscal data and operational analysis activities. Skilled in developing and organizing data in logical formats for reports, proposals, and other written documents.Able to work independently and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Skilled in researching, analyzing, and interpreting state and federal laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Able to utilize problem-solving techniques and apply applicable operational and management requirements. Able to organize data for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.Must be able to travel 24 hours away more than 50% of the time. This position must comply with the requirements set forth in Section 215.422, Florida Statutes (Prompt Payment Compliance Law).
