Overall Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage complex database solutions for clients
  • Lead and mentor a team of database developers and administrators
  • Analyze client's data requirements and provide expert advice on database architecture and design
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the database development project, from requirements gathering to deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the database solution meets the client's needs
  • Ensure high availability and performance of the database systems


Skills:

  • Strong experience in database design and management
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL and other database technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of database architecture and performance tuning
  • Experience with cloud database solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Design and implement database solutions to meet client requirements
  • Lead the development and deployment of database systems
  • Mentor junior members of the database team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the database solution is integrated with the overall solution
  • Manage the database development project and ensure it stays on track
  • Provide expert advice on database architecture and design to clients


Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Certifications in database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) are a plus
