Role Description:
Required skills, Education, and Experience
- MT/MLT and 0 to 5+ years of lab experience
- CVT/RVT/LVT and 1 to 5+ years of lab experience
- Associates degree with 1 to 5+ years of lab experience OR Bachelors degree with 1 to 5 years of lab experience
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop and work within a laboratory team.
- IT and LIS (laboratory information system) experience and general comfort level with computer systems, technology, and equipment interfaces.
- Able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
- Robust organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced STAT environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work within Windows and Laboratory Information System environment.
- Proficient knowledge in Hematology, Chemistry, and Urinalysis.
- Experience with 2-3 of the following instruments: Advia 2120i, Immulite 2000xpi, Beckman Coulter chemistry platforms, Clinitek Novus, or Stago STarT.
- Experience in the veterinary field strongly preferred, but not required.
- Must be available for evening and weekends.
