Maintain appropriate documentation of all nursing interventions and medication administration in eSchool. Conduct State mandated health screenings and health assessments. Maintain current records and files on each student's health and medical history in eSchool. Provide clerical duties in nurses office, answering parent calls, filing health records and reports. Carryout such other appropriate assignments as required by the lead nurse. Communicate with parents and teachers with any medical emergency Develop and manage school health and wellness program. Monitor immunizations, managing communicable diseases, and assessing the school environment as to prevent injury and ensure safety. Work with other school professionals, such as Nutrition services, counselors etc. to ensure child safety. Actively participate in school safety plans and emergencies that may occur in school. Able to establish rapport with students and their parents.
